本报讯美国学者的一项研究表明，体位性低血压可预测缺血性脑卒中。(美国心脏学会《新闻公报》2000年11月12日)

　　由美国北卡罗利那大学公共卫生学院Eigenbrodt等进行的这项社区动脉粥样硬化危险性研究(ARIC)，纳入了11707名在基线时无脑卒中和明显心脏病的中年人。以COX比例风险模型分析基线时体位性低血压与在8年间发生缺血性脑卒中的关系。

　　体位性低血压的定义为：从平卧位到直立位时，收缩压下降20mmHg(收缩期体位性低血压)；舒张压下降10mmHg(舒张期体位性低血压)；或二者之一(交感性体位性低血压)。

　　结果显示，即使在调整了许多卒中危险因素之后，体位性低血压仍是缺血性脑卒中的预测因素(交感性体位性低血压的危险比为2.0，95％CI为1.2～3.2)。根据体位性低血压不同类型，基线特征与体位性低血压的变化相关，所有类型均有相似的卒中风险。

　　结论认为，体位性低血压是一个易于测定的指标，有助于确定中年人脑卒中的危险。
