大量饮酒可引起直立性低血压

美国衣阿华大学和梅奥医院内科Somers博士认为，饮酒可明显抑制直立时心血管系统的调节能力(Circulation 2000,101∶398)。

　　即使是健康的年青人大量饮酒后，直立时亦可引起同样刺激，会使血压明显下降。

　　Somers以14名年青健康志愿者为对象(男13例，女1例，平均年龄26岁)，进行随机对照双盲试验，结果验证了酒精的影响。

　　通常，当人体直立时，回到心脏的血液量急剧减少，但通过血管收缩可使血压维持，从而可适当保持流入脑部或其他脏器的血液量。如在1小时内饮用与2～3杯啤酒等量的酒精，则通常不会引起血压下降。

　　大量饮酒者血压下降严重时会导致晕厥和意识丧失。老年人、糖尿病或心脏病患者虽有程度差异，但都有过直立时眩晕的体验，而饮酒造成的降压作用更加明显。因此，有心脏病、糖尿病等危险因素者和服降压药的老人，原来直立时就会感到眩晕，易发生血压降低，如果大量饮酒，晕厥的风险更大。
