    婴儿小小的鼻腔，稍有感冒或异物就很容易引起鼻阻塞，以致发生吸奶困难等，有时被呛得哇哇大哭。有的父母因此而惊惶，有的则忙用治鼻阻塞的药滴鼻净点上几滴。殊不知，这样处理会对婴儿有毒负作用。

   “滴鼻净”是荼唑啉的商品名，是一种拟肾上腺素药，局部应用有收缩血管的作用，人们常以其0.1％浓度的溶液滴鼻治疗炎性鼻充血，主要供成人使用。

   这种药比其他治疗鼻充血的药物副作用多，长期应用可出现鼻溢，头痛等症状，所以国外都不主张应用。婴儿鼻粘膜娇嫩，对药物的耐受力低，加上鼻腔粘膜吸收药物迅速而完全，因此，婴儿用滴鼻净滴鼻，极易引起中毒，造成面色苍白、四肢发冷、咽红、呼吸困难、心率加快等，甚至危及生命。

   婴儿鼻塞，如果没有其他全身症状，应首先用棉签清除鼻涕和异物。如果仍然不通，鼻塞严重，可滴少许清水，等鼻痂湿润变软后再清除。
