【病因和症状】

　　这种病是由细菌、真菌或耳壁虱等寄生虫所致。耳进水或胡乱掏耳朵造成的伤也可能引起此病。病猫初期耳内奇痒，猫会不停地晃脑袋、抓耳朵。不久便会出现略带黑色的耳垢，并有异味。鼓膜破裂，出现水泡、脓包，迸一步发展到中耳炎。这时耳朵也不再发痒，而会剧烈地疼痛，所以猫会很讨厌碰它的耳朵。

【治疗和护理】

　　洗澡时注意别把水弄到猫耳朵里，直到外耳炎治愈。由于猫不让碰其耳朵，所以要先实行麻醉，以便更正确的诊断。
