本报讯(记者 王亮)在昨天的“2007青岛国际帆船赛”新闻发布会上，“提供个性化服务”被赛事主办方多次提及。他们承诺，该赛事将按照奥运模式和奥运标准进行，使比赛更具观赏性和刺激性，并为运动员、观众、媒体等赛事的参与者提供个性化的服务。
去年，青岛曾成功举办过2006国际帆船赛。针对去年所暴露出的一些问题，青岛市副市长臧爱民表示，赛事组委会已对赛事组织、服务及比赛的其它相关工作进行了改进。
对于有记者关于青岛是否存在由于风小而影响比赛质量的提问，臧爱民进行了解答，“按照国际标准，帆船赛的完成率只要超过75%就算成功，而去年青岛国际帆船赛的成功率达到了92%，应该是不存在这样的问题。而且，为了进一步提高比赛的质量，今年我们还将尽量把比赛安排在下午4点之后进行，因为4点之后的风比较大。”
2007青岛国际帆船赛将于8月9日至24日在青岛奥林匹克帆船中心进行，届时将进行9个项目、11个级别的帆船(帆板)比赛。
作为2008年奥运会帆船比赛的实战彩排，该项赛事将严格按照奥运模式和奥运标准进行测试。目前，赛事的服务保障、新闻宣传和文化活动、礼宾接待、市场开发以及安保等方面的筹办进展顺利，静待比赛开始。
